Vance started his first business at the age of 11 and since then has founded and run numerous organizations and businesses including a real estate development company, a web development company and a non-profit organization. He has served as a consultant for California community colleges, sits on the national steering committee for the Lighthouse movement and taught as an adjunct professor at Western Seminary. His book has sold in over 25 countries, his articles have been published in magazines, blogs and ezines, and he has appeared on numerous radio and television shows.

In the midst of it all, Vance lost his health for six years, and failed at 14 business ventures. These experiences turned out to be the tool that made him the dynamic success that he is today.
